    In 1927, French physicist Robert Lévi first mentioned “chronons” in his paper, “Universal theory of action and discontinuous.”  This discrete quantity (or quantum) of time has remained a theoretical concept, conducive to speculative musings of “what if…” What if an ability to capture chronons were to exist.  Could they be applied to time-based applications?  For instance,
